I am interested in ‘sustainable food systems’sustainable consumptionprotein alternativessocial economic transitionsinternational regimes, trade and governance.

My masters thesis will look at the Implication of Diets on National Greenhouse Gas Balances. The objective is to document theĀ ‘nutrition transition’ in 4 emerging economies & assess the potential to reduce GHG’s through dietery change by use of scenario planning. Results to be used by policy makers to guide sustainable food consumption for both the environment and health.

My undergraduate dissertation focused on the geography of austerity in Ireland. Qualitative based research on the lived experience of austerity amongst mortgagors at the individual, family and community scale.
