About

My name is Fiona Dunne and I'm studying a masters in Climate Change, Agricultural Sustainability and Food Security in NUIG. The aim of this blog is to look at different topics of climate change, agricultural sustainability and food security. Apart of this course I have studied numerous topics surrounding climate change, agricultural sustainability and food security with a particular interest in livestock, its contribution towards climate change and how this contribution can be reduced by both mitigation and adaptation.

I have recently just done my thesis on the "Vulnerabilities Exposed by Import Dependent Domestic and Imported Commodities; Resilience to Reduce Vulnerabilities and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions".

I have previous experience as an environmental and agricultural advisor working with a local company called 'OCAE Consultants' based in Enfield Co. Meath. With this team I worked on Pilot Soil Sampling Scheme Set Up in Ireland.

I hope you enjoy my blog!
