Where in the world…

It’s time to pack my bags and leave the continent of Europe for the first time!

I will be spending my summer with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in Hanoi, Vietnam. There I will be studying greenhouse gas (GHG) emission monitoring tools and mitigation technologies to reduce such GHG emissions from Vietnam’s agricultural sector.

This past week I have been knee-deep in literature preparing for my research, which will hopefully entail being knee-deep in a paddy rice field (which sounds like much more fun!)
