Gas Chromatography Results

The Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test showed that there were no statistically significant differences (p=0.6771) between the CO2 levels recorded by GC and the treatments (glucose/in, no glucose/in glucose/out and glucose/in of chamber). The highest CO2 percentage was under the glucose treatment where the sample was taken from within the chamber (0.09%) at 14:00pm. Of the 36 samples taken for GC, 16 had concentrations of CO2 that were too low to detect. The average CO2 percentage for glucose/in, glucose/out, no glucose/in and no glucose/ out were 0.04, 0.03, 0.02 and 0.04 percent respectively.
