About

Coming from an agricultural back ground, the sustainable management of farming systems has always been of interest. My undergraduate degree is in Natural Science with a specialization in Plant Science from Trinity College Dublin. From this I developed a strong interest in the response of plants (in particular crops) to climate change. I am currently doing a masters in Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security in NUI Galway.  My research interests include climate smart agriculture, lower-emission agriculture, soil dynamics, greenhouse gas emissions and plant-ecophysiology. My MSc thesis is focused on the development and deployment of next generation farm sensors to measure greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural soils.
