Zambia depends on Agriculture has the second driver of its economy. Agriculture contributes % to GDP and it is mostly rain-fed and the majority producers are small scale farmers. The agricultural sector has been negatively affected by the impacts of climate change like high temperatures and droughts resulting in poor crop and livestock productivity. The sector has also experienced a number of indirect effects of climate change which include high levels of pest and disease infestations.
