Decolius Kalumo is an MSc. Climate Change Agriculture Food Security (MSc CCAFS) student at the National University of Ireland Galway . Decolius’s research focuses on the Landscape of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) in Malawi. His work on this will also lead to the development of Malawi’s CSA country profile, it is facilitated and supported by Plant and Agribiosciences Department at NUI Galway, CGIAR’s CIAT and CCAFS.

Decolius has a background in Irrigation Engineering and holds a degree from the University of Malawi, Bunda College of Agriculture now LUANAR. he has worked with different research consultants, as a part-time lecturer for LUANAR, NRC Campus before taking a position as a Researcher at NUIG-3D4AGDEV Project hosted at CIAT Malawi offices. Decolius is supported by the IrishAid Fellowship Training Programme.
