About

Hello there,

I’m a rare young Irish sheep farmer. Together with my Dad we have a large flock of lowland ewes, while also keeping sufficient suckler cows and designated cropland to complement our sheep farming enterprise. Our system is reasonably old fashioned, but with a bit of love and time and innovation it has the potential to be a bio dynamical, sustainable run farm. In 2016 I graduated from UCD where I studied animal and crop production and in the mean time I have been working in agricultural consultation as well as travelling the world. I had a super great time over this past year living and studying in Galway and I am pumped to delve into the question regarding whether or not organic farming is reducing the effects of climate change.
