What are realities of climate change? Let’s talk….

There has long been talk about climate change and it’s impacts on Earth systems and the environment. Oftentimes in the media and the public sphere, global warming or climate change has been portrayed as somewhat of a ‘far-away’ problem, separated from us humans.

The lack of conversation surrounding the meaning of scientific findings and the reality and gravity of climate change has enabled our continued exploitation, overconsumption and consequential overproduction of emissions.

However, now the conversation is changing to impacts climate change has on human health, on politics, on peace and indeed life. This can be overwhelming and a little bit scary at times but these conversations need to be had.
