My name is Lukonga Ngalama, a student of CCAFS. Am a Zambian and currently studying with the National University of Ireland – Galway. Am exploring information and experiences on Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation at all levels as well as the current state of the food system.
To be specific, I would like to share any information on Climate Smart Agriculture interventions in Africa.

I work for the the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Zambia under the extension services. My main responsibilities include to conduct in-service trainings on irrigation agronomy, and compile hydrological and hydraulic data for decision making.

I have had an opportunity in my work experience to be part of the implementing team on conservation agriculture strategies among smallholder farmers in zambia.
