About Me

Recently graduated from Munster Technological University Kerry (formerly Institute of Technology Tralee) with an honours degree in Agricultural Science. Throughout the course I was able to sample a range of modules such as Microbiology, Soil Science, Animal Physiology, and many more. However, I always had a strong interest in the environmental modules. In the third year of the degree, I had the amazing opportunity to complete work experience in Southern Scientific. Throughout my time here, I worked in the BVD laboratory and was responsible for carrying out various experiments on soil and water. This experience initiated the inspiration for my research thesis which examined the effects of fertilizer run-off on water quality.

At present, I am enrolled in NUI Galway as a MSc in CCAFS student, my hope is to continue learning about global climate change and environmental impacts so that I can combine this knowledge with my agricultural background.
