I have just been emailed by a fellow masters student from Nuig who I thought would be able to point me in the direction of a source of cow manure digestate. Regrettably she told me that she could only source food waste digestate and she could not find anyone in the Republic of Ireland that was operating animal manure anaerobic digestion. This is a big drawback as I was hoping to get started on my experiment in the next week or so. I guess I will have to look elsewhere maybe in the North of Ireland or see if any collages around the country have run a pilot scale digestion.
