So It looks like I will also be experimenting with using a rudimentary form of separation for digestate using plant material. This will involve a straw bed filtering technique that was mentioned by Fridjof at the University of Wageningen. I will need to contact someone from the NUIG microbiology department to get my hands on some digestate. This will make up a part of my project and I am looking forward to actually getting my hands on some data.
