SIYABONGA R. MATHEBULA

Siyabonga Reginald Mathebula is from South Africa, Mpumalanga andĀ  currently he’s doing his MSc in Climate Change, Agriculture and Food security at NUI Galway. He’s doing his MSc research at CSIR (Hydrosciences Research Group) in Stellenbosch, South Africa . His focus is on theĀ Impacts of invasive alien trees on recharge into the Atlantis aquifer on the West Coast of South Africa.

Qualifications: Siyabonga did his Bsc and Msc in Agriculture Crop science at North West University, South Africa. He has a Diploma in plant production from the Lowveld College of Agriculture, with experience in Citrus , Banana and sugarcane production. His interests on research focus more on the challenges facing South African aquifers, (Transpiration and WUE) and water-related risks of invasive species.
