Recess Sheep Show 2018

`Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I attended the first Recess sheep show. This show was dominated with Connemara hill black faced sheep, as it is located in the heart of Connemara. The show is in its first year and was a major success. The classes were very large, with an average of 30 sheep in each class. My brother got 3rd place in 2 classes, which was a great achievement.

I even got a job at the show, I was selling raffle tickets, ever the chance it was great to talk with farmers. I was telling them of my research and they were all very positive in respect of a new AES scheme.
