First month at CIAT

Hello there,

I am back again after two really busy weeks here in Colombia. As you can see I am already all installed after a month at CIAT.

For the last two weeks, I have been working on the raw data. If you want to know more about how the data was collected and the reason of monitoring climate-smart villages there is a CCAFS blog explaining all this information from the data collected last October in Lawra-Jirapa Climate-Smart Villages, Ghana.

The CSV Monitoring objectives are focused on three aspects:

To asses farm CSA performance, it is used the “CSA Farm Calculator Tool”. To asses CSA effects on household livelihoods and community adoption trends, it is used “the Smart Monitoring App”. The app looks like the following images.

The data that I will analyse from Cauca CSV will be to asses CSA effects on household livelihoods and community adaptation trends.
