I know I have no posted for awhile but its because I was caught up in organizing pig slurry. So for the project we are going with pig slurry as proxy for cow manure digestate due to the similar nutrient values they both posses. I have contacted a farmer in Portumna who has agreed to give me some slurry, the only problem is that i lack the appropriate containers for transport. This has set me back a whole week and so I need to make up for lost time somewhere. I am also waiting on a package from the Netherlands which contains the testing kits I will need for the experiment. There is also the need for bedstraw for the filtration section. I will update the blog when I get more news.
