The event was titled &#8220;<em>Young and ready to move- empowering the new generation in the rural space<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the key messages that emerged from the meeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Challenges that young people in rural areas face are interlinked and require systematic thinking to solve them<\/li>\n<li>Donors need to generate an environment for private sector integration.<\/li>\n<li>The use of social media can be effective to communicate valuable information to the young people.<\/li>\n<li>Farmers need be to empowered in the changing world. Donors can support this by providing basic and technical education, enhance farmers\u2019 capacities to learn, innovate and adapt.The\u00a0 video\u00a0 below provides some of the key messages that came from the meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0iU_ImOKvUQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 video\u00a0 provides some of the key messages that came from\u00a0 stakeholders at the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>This meeting is useful to reinforce engagement and participation of rural youth at all levels.
