The <em>Rhipicephalus microplus\u00a0<\/em>(shaded in red)\u00a0commonly known as the Bluetick is an important cattle disease vector in tropical and subtropical countries (De Clercq et al., 2015). The tick is a causative agent of diseases such as Anaplasmosis, <em>Babesia bovis <\/em>and <em>B. bigemina <\/em>(De Clercq et al., 2015) (common name: Babesiosis or red water) in cattle responsible for huge economic losses.
