today i extracted DNA from a faecal sample from an animal from a farm which had a H.contortus infection which was identified in a post mortem examination of the animal. tomorrow i will examine these with a PCR assay to see if i extracted roundworm DNA. the NANODROP results were good and had high concentrations of DNA. there is also a larval culture in place for this sample which will allow us to phenotypically identify the roundworms
