This is a personal fish farm cooperating with local government agencies devoting to breeding good strains of the snakehead fish, the domestication of snakehead fish and testing some new techniques for farming snakehead fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This pond is for transforming the feed type from trash fish to formulated feed. As we can see that there are still some feeds floating on the surface. The while square area is a specially designed place for feeding fishes, called feeding platform in which most feeds will be scattered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the formulated feed used for altering the trash fish and I was taking some samples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a refrigeration house for storing the traditional feed, which is iced trash fish, for snakehead fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new variety of Snakehead Fish\u2014\u2014Golden Snakehead Fish<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is a very rare species of snakehead fish, but this farm has successfully bred this species by artificial cultivation. According to the owner of the farm, golden snakehead fish is much fiercer and also timider than the normal snakehead fish. The owner said it was really rare to see them on the surface because they are very sensitive as well and they wouldn’t show up when they are searching for food even if there is very low voice tested by them.
