My research project will seek to &#8216; Understand climate change mitigation and adaptation impacts of large-scale fortification &#8216; . Large scale fortification is one among the major programs implemented by Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), which is an independent none-profit  foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland with several offices around the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What&#8217;s thrilling about this project is that I get to use my background in Human Nutrition to have an in-depth understanding of how food fortification is significant for the nutritious security and well being of populations , while also incorporating climate change skills to realize where fortification stands  in relation to adapting to the Earths changing climate (Adaptation) and reducing Greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) (Mitigation) . Also, it will be essential to recognize just how food fortification impacts the environment  whether for good or bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will continue learning and share updates on this interesting topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cheers! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here I come!
