Nyamisi Kweba, is originally from Musoma, Tanzania and is currently a masters student , studying a post-graduate degree in Msc. Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security at The National University of Ireland, Galway. She did a bachelors degree in Human Nutrition at Sokoine University of Agriculture in Tanzania. Her main interests center around nutrition and sustainable food security for the future and learning how to critically address challenges that climate change has on agricultural and food systems.

Her research projects focuses on ‘Understanding Climate Change mitigation and adaptation impacts of large-scale food fortification’. She will partake, her project in partnership with Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), Tanzania and NUI Galway.

Further interests for her career, evolve in understanding how various adaptation and mitigation strategies can enable resilience of food systems and reduce their emissions to the environment, specifically in Tanzania.
