Highlighting the need for the collaboration of the arts and science

The approach of the GJF2019 festival organisers and musicians involved the seeking of guidance and collaboration from researchers in the University of Galway, Ryan Institute This also further highlights the need for collaboration of the arts and science sectors in terms of developing a framework of appropriate methodology in carbon quantification and ultimately succeed in working towards reducing emissions as result of the provision of consistent information which will allow for future comparisons more readily.
