The EU-funded project Songs of Travel, will be implemented in 2024 together with three other international festivals including Cellissimo in Galway. Järna Festival Academy (which is now Fairplay Chamber Music) have been invited to this project to develop a climate policy based on research that is being developed based in collaboration with the University of Galway, Ireland. The policy will enable other festivals to follow along. Fairplay Chamber Music’s work and efforts in sustainability has increasingly become widespread, gaining prominence for its extensive work in sustainability with both private and international organisations following lead from Fairplay Chamber Music in implementing policies to reduce festival emissions.
