About Me

My Name is Kate Greaney and I am a MSsCCAFS student in NUI Galway. I completed my Bsc (Hons) of Science in NUI Galway in 2018 and I went straight into my maters degree. During my undergrad degree I studied botany plant science and plant agricultural bio-science and it was during this time that I became conscious of climate change and emissions from agriculture. I wanted to study this further and after a few emails I was recommend to apply for the masters in Climate Change Agriculture and Food Security (MScCCAFS). I began in september 2018 just one month before I graduated from my undergrad. My main areas of interest are entomology, plant-environment interactions and food security.
