The Final Stretch

Today marks the last day I am enrolled as a MSc CCAFS student at NUIG, which is bitter sweet. I am grateful for the knowledge gained and time spent growing into a strong and more adaptable person, but in some ways I feel like myself and my fellow course mates missed out on some key parts of the college experience. Luckily, many of us plan to take full advantage of the two year work visa and remain in Ireland, affording us the opportunity to grow in friendship and to experience Ireland.

This week I will be tidying up my poster, adding a table of income data to my manuscript, editing the discussion section of the paper and continuing to work through the paper as much as possible before a final draft is sent to my external advisors on September 6th. Hopefully our work will be published in Environmental Review Letters and that agroecology will be further studied by researchers for economic data and will be discussed at COP26.
