I’m currently looking for jobs in Brussels. As anyone who has been unemployed understands, this is a taxing process. Finding the right organization can be difficult, and even when you think you’ve found the perfect match, they may not be hiring for a position that suits your background. This can be a frustrating, emotional, mentally defeating and demoralizing process. But we all go through it, and once you land a job, it makes all of that hard work worth it.

If you’re like me and also searching for jobs in Brussels, this list may help! I’ve compiled this list of organizations while in the search, and I thought it may be a helpful list to share for anyone in a similar position. As my background knowledge/work experience is in fields surrounding climate change, agriculture, environmental protection, migration and social justice, this list is categorized by organizations working on these themes.

It also helps to be subsribed to daily job alerts from EuroClimateJobs and EuroJobs, and checking the EURACTIV JobSite. You can also add up to 20 customized LinkedIn alerts, based on organizations you want to be notified by or customized words or the titles of positions you’re searching for. In addition to these search methods, I frequently check this list of organizations’ job postings, as some of these do not make it through to these channels.

This list is in no way exhaustive, and I will be updating it as I find more organizations. Also, as many of these organizations are cross-cutting, they may appear in multiple themes.
