The purpose of my blog is to bring you along on my journey as I start and (hopefully) complete my MSc in agribiosciences here in NUIG. This blog entry is going to be a little different to others I plan on posting , less scientific and more personal. I suppose one could say I am going to use this entry as a \u201c\u201dget to know me better \u201c\u201d post .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am 23 years old , I hail from the \u201creal capital\u201d of Ireland , Co.Cork . I graduated from UCC in 2019 , where I spent four years studying ecology and environmentally biology . In my final year of UCC I had to complete a final year project , in vitro<\/em> culture of perennial ryegrass and nucleic acid analysis , this research project sparked an interest in me , which led me to this masters , a spark I hope to contine to shed some light on in this coming year of research .<\/p>\n\n\n\n Currently and for the last 12 months I have been working in an ice cream factory (a dream job for some) . I really enjoy my job , it is a small family owned factory supplying ice cream locally and globally.
